Laura Bishop
Laura has studied piano since Year 4 and taught herself to play double and electric bass. She studied 3 unit music, majoring in composition, at Caringbah High School and toured Japan as the bassist in the Schools stage band. She has participated in several eisteddfods and has received many awards for music throughout high school. She became a registered copyist and arranger with The music Arrangers Guild of Australia and her first music preparation job was for The Boy From Oz. Laura aspires to compose her own music and would like to study for a Bachelor of Music in Composition at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Tonight, Laura leads the NSW Public Schools Stage Band No. 1 in the performance of Avivar.
