Jennifer Condon
Jennifer considers herself an opera addict. She has just completed Year 10 at Kambala Church of England Girls School, where her study in Music was accelerated, and she completed the 3 Unit Music course. She has been studying piano for 13 years and was awarded her A .Mus. A in 1997. She has received many awards at eisteddfods and competitions and has been a finalist twice in the Yamaha Australian Youth Piano Competition and the Metropolitan Schools Piano Competition. Jennifer plans to continue her studies in piano and singing and she aspires to a career as a conductor. She is joined tonight by Joslyn Recliner noted mezzo-soprano with Opera Australia. Jennifer's text is adapted from ‘A Simple Song’ by Gwen Harwood, which is used with the permission of ETT Imprint.
