Sabrina Batshon
Newtown High School of the Performing Arts
Sabrina has long aspired to become a professional entertainer and her dreams have already met with some success. She has worked as the understudy to Dorothy in the The Wizard of Oz at Star City, Sydney and performed in The Witches of Eastwick production at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne. She has also performed in clubs throughout NSW and Queensland. Sabrina has twice been a soloist at the Schools Spectacular, is a past winner of the McDonald’s Performing Arts Challenge (open age contemporary vocal solo) and is a participant in the Talent Development Project for 2003-2004. She would love to sing for the rest of her life. She is accompanied on piano by John Pickworth.
