Jonathan Wilson
Canberra Grammar School
Jonathan has played the piano since the age of six and has studied in recent years with Margaret Hair. He has also studied viola with Barbara Jane Gilby at the Canberra School of Music. Jonathan has been the recipient of the Canberra Grammar School’s Tim Murray Music Scholarship and the Janice Battison Memorial Award. He attended National Music Camp in 2000, 2001, and 2002; the Internationale Klavierakademie at Murrhardt, Germany in 2002; and the Pan Pacific Piano Performance Camp at Collaroy in 2003. He was accepted into the Australian Youth Orchestra in 2003. Jonathan wants to become a career musician and is undertaking an Arts degree at Sydney University before travelling to Europe to further his musical training.
